Berekah (بركة), meaning “blessing,” is a vibrant community center rooted in Islamic faith and Ethiopian heritage. Located in the heart of Oakland, we are a spiritual and cultural home for Ethiopian Muslims and all who seek connection, support, and purpose through the values of Islam and community solidarity.

Our mission is to preserve our rich religious and cultural traditions while building bridges across generations and communities. We offer a space where everyone—from elders to youth—can come together in worship, learning, service, and celebration.
